WHAT WE LOOK AT

Start with the appliance and the supply.

A new appliance

Manufacturer specifications help determine what the piping installation needs to support.

A relocation or remodel

The proposed route and access should be reviewed before walls or cabinets are finished.

Existing piping concerns

An assessment is needed before work or reuse of an existing connection is recommended.

A PRACTICAL PLAN

Review appliance demand and the connection scope.

A new range, water heater, or other gas appliance can change the demand on the existing piping. The equipment specifications and the current system need to be reviewed before assuming the nearest line can support the addition.

We discuss the proposed route, accessible connections, and coordination with the gas provider or other trades. Permitting and inspection requirements belong in the project scope where applicable.

Share the appliance model, fuel type, and installation location when requesting planned work. Natural gas and propane equipment requirements differ; compatibility needs to be established for the actual system.

HOW WE WORK

Understand. Explain. Take care of it.

01 / TELL US WHAT’S HAPPENING

Start with a conversation.

Share the symptoms, address, and any photos or prior estimates. We give pricing information over the phone whenever we reasonably can.

02 / REVIEW THE FINDINGS

Know what we recommend.

We explain what we find, the proposed work, and any access or scope questions. You have room to ask questions and compare options.

03 / AGREE ON THE NEXT STEP

Choose with confidence.

We recommend the work the property needs. If something changes during the job, the scope and your options belong in the conversation.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you decide.

Should I call a plumber first if I smell gas?

Leave the area immediately. Once safely away, call 911 and your gas provider’s emergency line. Do not operate switches, phones, or equipment in the suspected area.

Can a new appliance use any nearby gas line?

Not automatically. Capacity, pressure, equipment requirements, and the existing route need to be evaluated.
