Back to Class: Backflow Training That Serves Our Customers
Time in the classroom, plenty of studying, and another step in providing dependable backflow service for our community.
Learning doesn't stop when the workday ends. Our team recently completed a backflow testing course, and we're now UF TREEO certified for backflow repair.
These photos show a little of the work behind that milestone: time in the classroom, open books, highlighted notes and studying. We put that effort in because our customers count on us to understand the systems we're working on.
What the training means
UF TREEO is the University of Florida's Training, Research and Education for Environmental Occupations center. It offers separate training in backflow testing and repair. Its tester certification program is accredited by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA).

Why backflow service matters
Backflow means water moves in the wrong direction. A backflow prevention assembly helps keep potentially contaminated water from flowing back toward the drinking-water supply. Testing checks whether the assembly is working as intended; repair addresses problems found in that equipment.
