WHAT WE LOOK AT
Taste, visible particles, and a test result may point to different treatment approaches.
Whole-home and under-sink systems should be matched to your intended use.
Filters need service according to the manufacturer’s instructions to perform as intended.
A PRACTICAL PLAN
Whole-home and point-of-use systems serve different purposes. A whole-home installation treats incoming water for selected concerns; an under-sink system focuses on water at a particular drinking-water tap.
The filter media and exact product certification matter. For example, a taste-and-odor claim is different from a certified reduction claim for a particular contaminant. Check the selected model’s performance information rather than relying on the word “filter.”
We review the water source, available flow, installation space, and replacement schedule. Existing pressure and plumbing access can influence the design. Ongoing cartridge or media costs belong in the comparison alongside the installed price.

HOW WE WORK
Share the symptoms, address, and any photos or prior estimates. We give pricing information over the phone whenever we reasonably can.
We explain what we find, the proposed work, and any access or scope questions. You have room to ask questions and compare options.
We recommend the work the property needs. If something changes during the job, the scope and your options belong in the conversation.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Not unless the selected system also includes an appropriate softening function. Filtration and hardness reduction are different treatments.
No. Review the exact model’s certified reduction claims for the substances you are concerned about.
