WHAT WE LOOK AT

A new trim kit isn’t always a new valve.

Drips & control problems

The valve and serviceable components need to be assessed before deciding on replacement.

A new shower design

Confirm valve and trim compatibility before ordering the visible fixtures.

Tub installation

Dimensions, drain placement, and access for connections need to fit the proposed location.

A PRACTICAL PLAN

Review the valve and drain before finishes.

The visible handle and showerhead are only part of the system. The valve inside the wall controls the water, and replacement trim must be compatible with it. A repair may involve a cartridge or other serviceable component rather than replacing the entire assembly.

For a new shower or tub, drain position, supply connections, and access are important early decisions. Moving plumbing can change the scope substantially, particularly where a finished wall or floor needs to be opened.

Tell us whether this is a repair, an in-place replacement, or part of a full remodel. We can discuss the plumbing work and clarify what other trades need to complete, including enclosure, waterproofing, tile, and finish restoration.

HOW WE WORK

Understand. Explain. Take care of it.

01 / TELL US WHAT’S HAPPENING

Start with a conversation.

Share the symptoms, address, and any photos or prior estimates. We give pricing information over the phone whenever we reasonably can.

02 / REVIEW THE FINDINGS

Know what we recommend.

We explain what we find, the proposed work, and any access or scope questions. You have room to ask questions and compare options.

03 / AGREE ON THE NEXT STEP

Choose with confidence.

We recommend the work the property needs. If something changes during the job, the scope and your options belong in the conversation.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you decide.

Can I change the shower’s finish without opening the wall?

Sometimes, if compatible trim is available for the existing valve. We need to identify the valve before confirming.

Does a shower leak always require a new valve?

No. Some problems can be addressed by replacing serviceable parts. Condition and access determine the practical options.
