Lukewarm Water, Restored Heat: A Recent Water Heater Repair

A three-year-old water heater needed a repair to its heating components—not a new tank.

The water heater was only three years old, but the home's water was coming out lukewarm. Our team got to work and restored the heat by repairing the heater's working components.

A new element and thermostats

For this job, we rebuilt the water heater's heating components with a new element and thermostats. Full heat was restored, and the existing water heater stayed in service.

Repair or replace? Start with the problem

Lukewarm water does not automatically mean a home needs a new water heater. The condition of the tank, the source of the problem, and the repair options all matter. In this case, replacing the heating components addressed the issue.

Every heater is different. We evaluate what is happening and explain the options so customers can make an informed decision about repair or replacement.
