Just in time for Halloween, here's a smell scare with a happy ending. A local medical office in Jacksonville Beach reported a constant sewer smell that had been around for years. Some days were worse than others, but the problem never really went away.

The culprit was hiding beneath the building

We went to work investigating. Finding the source meant getting under the building and army-crawling through the tight space beneath it.

There, we found the culprit: a broken fitting that was leaking onto the crawlspace matting. The odor that had bothered the office for years had a physical cause tucked out of sight.

A proper repair—and no more smells

We made the proper repairs to the fitting and its support. The result was the one the office had wanted all along: no more sewer smells.

This job is personal to us, too. Our family uses this medical practice. When we visit and hear that we're the plumbing team that finally found and fixed the issue, it brings a smile to our faces.

That feedback means a lot. A problem that had become part of the office's everyday routine was finally resolved.

On this call, the answer was beneath the building. Taking the time to reach it, identify the broken fitting, and repair it made the difference.
