MULTI-FAMILY PLUMBING. REAL PROJECTS.
Water Back in a Few Hours: An Apartment Community Pipe Repair
When a pipe leak disrupted water service, our team got to work—and had water back to the community in a few hours.

When water stops running at an apartment community, a plumbing problem quickly becomes everyone’s problem. Residents still need showers, working kitchens, and laundry. The property team needs a clear plan and people who can get to work.
That was the situation at a recent multi-family apartment community. A pipe leak had interrupted water service. Advantage Plumbing came out, repaired the leak, and had water back to the community in a few hours.
Getting to the problem—and getting the water back
This repair meant reaching piping below the surface. Our crew brought the equipment needed to open the work area and access the line. The project photos show the hands-on work involved, from cutting the surface to working in the excavation.
Once the leak was repaired, water service was restored. For the community, that meant getting back to the everyday routines that depend on something most of us barely think about until it’s gone.

Prepared people make a difference
Multi-family plumbing takes more than fixing one fixture. A problem with shared piping can affect several homes, and the property team is balancing the repair with residents’ questions and access to the work area.
We work with some of the largest multi-family communities in the Jacksonville area. Our team has the infrastructure to support your compliance requirements and provide 24/7 availability for your plumbing needs. We understand why property managers need a plumbing partner who communicates clearly and follows through.
Every leak is different. Location, access, piping condition, and the repair needed all affect the time involved. In this case, we were able to get water back to the community in a few hours.

A little preparation helps when a leak happens
If you manage apartments or another shared property, keep these details easy to find:
- The right contact. Have your plumber’s number available to the staff handling after-hours calls.
- Access and authorization. Know who can approve work, provide gate or equipment-room access, and help identify shutoff locations.
- A clear description. Share where water is appearing, when the problem started, and which residents or buildings have lost service. Photos can help.
- A way to update residents. Clear communication helps the property team explain what is known as the repair progresses.
We’re proud of our team’s work on this repair. More than anything, we’re glad the community had its water back.
